    My goodness. That certainly is “Poppies Aplenty!” Never seen anything like it. Were they planted as a crop or just a naturally beautiful field? Nice capture! A good cloud day too!

    They were planted. Tasmania grows 50% of the legal poppy crops each year. They are harvested and processed by Tasmanian Alkaloids (Johnson & Johnson).

    I was just going to say….those poppies look like raw material for Tas Alkaloids – 🙂

    Col – these field look like heaven to me! I would have a “field day” with this kind of scene – beautifully captured!
