The Athabasca falls were just down the road from where we had stopped at the rivers edge. The falls are very close to the main road so plenty of tourists stop in on there way to and from Jasper. Kim found herself getting exasperated with them because they just take photos without really looking. It is at this point she feels she became a photographer. Kim can be quite passionate about he interests.
We took plenty of photos here, once the tourists got out of the way, and then we walked around to a little picnic site and had some lunch. While sitting there we had a baby chipmunk run around us. We both tried to take some photos of him but he didn’t really want to be apart of that. Before we left I walked closer to the rivers edge and got a couple shots and then we went back to the car. Kim wanted to try and call Marion, a distant relative, in Toronto while we were near a pay phone, but we didn’t seem to have the number on us.
