Central Park

From Times Square we headed towards Central Park which was up town. We wanted to take a horse and carriage ride through the park. We found ourselves at the south west corner of the park and we had some guide trying to sell us a bike tour instead of the horse ride. We eventually left him and made our way to the horse and carriages. They didn’t seem all that enthused to be there, (the drivers that is) but we got a carriage and went around a very small part of the park. On the way out of the park during the carriage ride we saw people getting their portraits drawn. I wanted to get us drawn so we headed back that way. We found a guy to draw us and we certainly got conned. $280 USD for a drawing that didn’t really look like us. Oh well, how often are you going to be in Central Park to get your picture drawn?
